Foreign Office Priorities

Yesterday I called the Foreign Office and asked for the official view of John Bolton’s nuking Iran by Israel plan. They did not have one. They never comment about things said overseas by foreign politicians. How peculiar. They are not the Home Office. They are the Foreign Office. They can’t afford to be sniffy about foreigners surely?

This morning, over my early morning tea, I listen to David Milliband, yes the Foreign Secretary, telling us why Tony Blair is just the person to be President of Europe. Of course. How silly of me. That’s the kind of thing the Foreign Office is interested in on our behalf. I really must get my priorities straight.

  1. I like this weblog very much, Its a very nice situation to read and incur info. “The nice thing about being a celebrity is that when you bore people, they think it’s their fault.” by Henry Kissinger.

  2. I would wish to thank you for that efforts you’ve got produced in writing this write-up. I am hoping the same very best perform from you in the potential also. Actually your inventive writing abilities has inspired me to start my very own BlogEngine weblog now.

  3. If you’re still on the fence: grab your favorite earphones, head down to a Best Buy and ask to plug them into a Zune then an iPod and see which one sounds better to you, and which interface makes you smile more. Then you’ll know which is right for you.

  4. Thanks for an idea, you sparked at thought from a perspective I hadn’t thought of yet. Now lets see if I can do something with it.

  5. Thank you for the advice. I’ve found your first point to be most effective.

  6. Good points…I would note that as someone who really doesn’t comment to blogs much (in fact, this may be my first post), I don’t think the term “lurker” is very flattering to a non-posting reader. It’s not your fault in the least , but perhaps the blogosphere could come up with a better, non-creepy name for the 90% of us that enjoy just reading the content .

  7. Thanks for some good thoughts there. I am kind of new to web surfing, so I printed this off to put in my file, any better way to go about keeping track of it then printing?

  15. Strange this post is totaly unrelated to what I was searching google for, but it was listed on the first page. I guess your doing something right if Google likes you enough to put you on the first page of a non related search. 🙂

  16. @ Carmen I know what your saying there . In todays economy its hard to find a job that pays well and is stable . I have found that if you just work hard and are consistent you can succeed. Look at the poster of this article, they are clearly a hard worker and have just been consistent over time and are now enjoying at least what would appear as somewhat of a success. I would encourage everyone to just keep hustling and moving forward.
