A 29% turnout is a slap in the face for any idea of an angry membership spoiling for a strike. Of those 78% voted for action; that is 22% of the total membership. Such strikes, putting innocent members of the public to great inconvenience at a tough time for everybody should not be legal.<\/p>\n<p>The government should legislate that for a strike to be valid, an actual majority of all members must vote for it.
